Racine Branch Celebrates Relocation with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

If you haven’t heard the news, our Racine branch moved to a new office on Tuesday, March 6th. We are very excited about our relocation to Green Bay Road, a heavily trafficked area near prime retailers and restaurants.

To celebrate this exciting milestone, we worked closely with the Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC) to put together a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 27th at 2:00 PM and was attended by RAMAC Staff and Board members, Mt. Pleasant Board of Trustees, Parallel staff and an appearance from Racine County Executive; Jonathan Delagrave. The event included a few words from RAMAC President Matt Montemurro, a speech from Parallel’s Executive Vice President Kirk La Du, light refreshments, a fun prize wheel for attendees to show off their best Vanna White impression and a Jelly Bean contest.

In Kirk La Du’s speech, he stated “We’ve had a very good experience here and we’ve had a lot of fruitful relationships with partners that we continue to have to this day. We’ve been on Main Street; we’ve been on Washington, now we’re here.” Parallel’s relationship with the Racine area has no end in sight and La Du ended his speech by saying, “We look forward to all the new opportunities and the continued growth of Parallel in the Racine Market.”

The event lasted about an hour and was the perfect way to kick off a new start in a new space for our Racine staff. Visit our Facebook page to view the photo gallery.
